But they didn’t even answer the question about the price tag. When directly asked about the fact there was a price tag, they just sidestepped the question and told an anecdote that they talked to the creator that if someone was interested they would talk to him about it, but it doesn’t explain why they put up a price tag for $15k. They do say they have now raised the price but it’s annoying that they couldn’t explain why they put a price tag on it if it wasn’t for sale.

They explained that the price tag is for anyone interested in buying a similar bird to contact the artist directly.  This bird in store isn't for sale because it's permanently attached to the wall.

I mean they explained that after the photo with the price tag was posted, which seems suspicious. They could have mentioned how they offered her an almost identical piece but they didn’t say anything until the photo was posted. And honestly their responses and recent posts have been quite passive-aggressive for a business that’s trying to claim they aren’t rude to customers.

Agreed. Something is off with their claims and when Kelly replied with more details, they started backtracking.

The customer is not always right, it's pretty simple.

u can create every narrative and conspiracy in your head, but Kelly is in the wrong.

These people don't have the best PR team behind them, they don't have at all, they are trying to handle a situation that is bigger than them. in one second they are the center of attention and a bad one.. dealing with a 60 million net worth powerful celebrity that behaves like the most McDonald's type of a Karen and her idiotic mob, is not as easy as it sounds..

yes, moving the discussion to social media is a bad move from Kelly but she’s not reckless enough to do that for the sake of doing it.
Karen’s are just Americans being stupid and brainless, but Kelly did had a reason behind her action (though it’s still unfair for the business since she’s more powerful). They even doubled down on their aggression when she added more context on what really happened.
