Chromatica Song Titles

Is it just me, or do Chromatica's song titles seem not necesarily "generic", but very "fanmade track list?"

 

Like, whenever fans make tracklists for Gaga's albums, they always have stuff like Plastic, Caution, 9-1-1, Church, Sinner, Hooker, stuff like that. To me, Chromatica's track list is similar - some of the songs names like Alice, 911, Sour Candy, Free Woman, and Plastic Doll remind me a lot of the fanmade song names. Like I still can't believe that those are the names of ACTUAL Lady Gaga songs. Not necessarily a good or bad thing, just an interesting thought I've noticed. Another song would be Sinner's Prayer - when I first saw it on the track list it reminded me A LOT of the songs fans come up with for Gaga, but after hearing it, it sort of grew it's own identity. I guess once we hear them the songs will have an identity but I still cant get over the fact that those are the names of actual songs by her.

I genuinely think I have written Plastic Doll down as a part of my fanmade gaga album tracklists once, so I was shook when I saw it

Exactly , remember we were all thinking about the WARNING EXPLICIT BEAUTY for LG5, Chaos Angel.....

and especially plastic doll, I feel like everyone imagine LG5 or LG6 would be a dark and crazy visual come back. we came up with some sort of robot alien visual or scifi vibes. That's why we now looking back at some fanmade album covers is kind similar to the paper magazine shoot

I haven't even seen the tracklist thoroughly but most track name seem like that

they're just names without a sound attached to them yet

I totally get what you mean and yeah, most of the titles do seem fan made or “not Gaga”. This is of course after looking at the Born This Way or The Fame Monster tracklist. 
 

Something like this happened to me too when she talked about the songs on ARTPOP. I was like, It’s so cool that she’s naming these songs with just one word or solid concept (Applause, Tea, Tinnitus, GUY, Burqa, Ratchet, Swine, Gypsy, etc.) Then when she revealed the full tracklist and that most of the songs were just one word it bothered me that in the middle of it there’s a song called “Do What U Want” which sounds kinda generic type of name like “I Love You” or whatever since she never had songs that start with What, When or We, etc. 
 

Anyway, it is strange to look at a Gaga album and see songs called “Replay”, “Fun Tonight”, “911” but that’s the beauty of it, getting to know these mystery titles. Plastic Doll, Enigma and Sour Candy do sound like part of those fake ones they do like Chaos Angel, Martyr of Fame or even the Vinyl feat. David Bowie lol.

Alice, Sour Candy, Replay, Sine From Above, 1000 Doves and 911. 

All sound like generic fanmade Gaga tracks. Especially when compare titles to her past albums. Maybe Gaga is trying to give us The Fame vibes where the titles are simple and fun instead of it being mysterious and complex.

Fun Tonight and Replay are such forgotten tracks which makes me more excited for them than say Plastic Doll

the titles are intriguing
