It's really sad that the media almost ignores all the inconsistencies. The pressure to not ask her any hard question and to minimize any of the "details" that makes her look less credible is huge. It basically invites people to make false accusations about anyone in power.

I think what is even more sad that people on this forum are quick to point the finger at people they do not like.

My first choice was not Biden, he was not my second, or third choice but this is who we have and I am going to support him. More and more details about the alleged sexual misconduct Tara Is reporting is inconsistent with what she has said and other witnesses corroborating stories keep contradicting what has been said and done in the past.

Other sexual assault victims know in their heart she is not telling the truth and in the end the truth is always revealed.

Nobody *knows* anything.

Cut the bllsh*t.

We just want Dems to place the same standard for Tara that they used against Kavanaugh so that the #MeToo movement is not just a political weapon. #MeToo should be genuine. But I guess we only believe women when it is convenient.

You cut the bullshit and misinformation you’re spreading easy as that sis.

you seem to be ignoring every thing that has come to light that has definitely tarnished her story.

the only this has done is affected how people will be affected in the future and actual victims coming forth will be the ones who ultimately pay the price.

What an ignorant thing to say. I'm sure the hundreds of innocent civilians who died in the middle east were all terrorists :rip:

You don't care about brown people, just say it directly. And don't come at me with "I'm black" - clearly that's not stopping you from being unempathetic towards other persecuted groups.

I have major issue with Obama, but it bothers me the double standards some leftists—often white—have for him versus other presidents and the utter exaggeration and hyperbolic reaction to him at times. I mean, Jimmy Carter's deals with Suharto are arguably far worse than our part in Yemen and yet I see twitter roses go "yaas Carter, OBamA is a GEnocidal monster like HitLer." Like, 95% of presidents have committed mass murder if you're going to judge by those standards, and even Bernie has said he'd use drones.

And?

I'm brown and he killed people like me, I have full right to be mad. The fact that others did it too doesn't make it okay. I condemn all presidents who did this but I don't like the double standards of liberals who say "omg warmonger Bush and BTW yaaaaasss Obama best president ever!" When Bush and Obama foreign policy were next to identical.

By “every thing that has come to light” do you mean the unrelated evidence that was found by liberals during their opposition research of Tara? Dems and Libs alike condemned the GOP for participating in opposition research during the Kavanaugh hearings and then using whatever they came up with to damage the credibility of the victim, Ford. Now you’re doing the same thing. This is hypocrisy of the highest order.

Her past is just...

I mean what American writes "I love Russia with all my heart." ?

Wow. I'm really sick of this "American versus Russia" narrative so many people paint. There's no denying the U.S. and Russia have had and do still today have some tensions when it comes to world policy, but Russia is by no-means all American's enemy. This same narrative is painted with China, North Korea and even Iran. In all 4 countries the people have little say in the actions of the government and often only act as or are forced to be agents of such. The narrative itself is very "American" (in the past sense) to say the least and is the reason why issues relating to race, ethnicity and religion (anything that differs from the traditional, white, patriarchal, capitalist, Christian model and doctrine of society) will never be adequately addressed and America will continue to struggle to find unity and true patriotism not this forced to stand in school for the Pledge of Allegiance or mandatory enrollment in the Selective Service for benefits.

Also, to the best of my knowledge, Assange wasn't accused of the American definition of rape. His crimes were related to the potential intentional use of and damaging of a condom used for sexual intercourse and the other was accusations of sexual assault while his partner was sleeping and the second was dropped. (Not saying I agree with either, but the definition of rape does differ in different languages while the moral and criminal impact does not.)

She's lying and wants fame /money.:sure: I believe trumps accusers but Biden has character, and is a decent man. Ive met him and he put his hands on my shoulders and i didnt feel assaulted. Hes a passionate guy. We cannot let trump have 4 more years. Our Supreme Court could change and criminalize same sex marrige. We cannot let RBG's seat go to a conservative. :billie:

Biden accuser Tara Reade 'not sure' what complaint she claims was filed with Senate says

Reade has said that the complaint, if it’s found, would not include the sexual assault allegation that she came forward with in March. She told the Associated Press in an interview Friday: “the main word I used — and I know I didn’t use sexual harassment — I used ‘uncomfortable.’ And I remember ‘retaliation.’”

So now she is backtracking on this?

It does seem that Reade is having problems keeping her story straight.

It's genuinely sickening how easily people will put aside lives of real human beings and call their deaths justifiable just to protect their fave. Like it doesn't take a lot for people to dehumanize so many others who have real families, real stories, real suffering. They're not just art for Michelangelo to carve or people whose stories and fury can be rewritten.

If my favorite politician got elected and murdered civilians, I'd have issues with them too.

I don't understand why people can't take one critical look into their fave. Why does everyone we like have to be an idol?
