Whispering 18,865
Fine with me. I’m certain he will choose two or three of the few sane, moderate ones. This is normal and expected from most Presidents.

The worst part is I feel like I agree with both of these statements. Can we just go back in time and prevent Trump from taking office in the first place? ToxicHot 6,444
WHAT THE HELL How does anyone expect for any positive/progressive changes to happen if you've got him working with republicans so close to him!?!?! It's not like Trump has democrats in his cabinet. If he wants a politically-reasonable balance, that's exactly what CONGRESS AND THE SUPREME COURT IS FOR. It's like trying to go on a healthy diet but you still keep cake, candy, and ice cream in your house. dOnT sAd ReAcT mE 2 bE sHaDy i WiLL RePoRt U!!1! PartySick 173,149
How I feel about this would depend on what kind of Republican and for what position. There's Kasich styled GOP that I wouldn't mind terribly and there's Trump/Graham/Cruz/McConnell/Scott/etc GOP that would make me want to die Regardless, hopefully this is just talk to woo some of the disgruntled former Trump voters over to him. Healthcare, the environment, employee rights, and protection against gender, racial, and LGBTQ discrimination just to name a couple I don't think a few brownie points from the right is worth turning off the progressive movement but we'll see I guess.
