A dangerous mutation (extremely rare) is much different from *any* mutation (common and usually makes no difference).

You’re argument is that since coronaviruses mutate at all, we will need booster vaccines or different vaccines. Which is very unlikely to be true. Your reasoning was, “well the flu mutates and we need a yearly flu vaccine,” which is not an adequate comparison.

I’m not confused, you are. You need to go back and read. You’re literally not understanding my original response and running with it. I said the only way they can be compared is that both mutate. That’s the only way they can be compared. Otherwise they aren’t comparable. That is fact. It’s not opinion. It’s not a narrative. It’s science. Both mutate. Period. My original post was also a worst case scenario- which was clearly stated by saying “worst case scenario” - would be the possibility of a yearly or every 5 year shot like the flu, bacterial pneumonia,

etc. That may or may not happen. Anyway not going to argue with you anymore. If you don’t get it, you don’t get it. Not my problem.

I'm a former Tesla stockholder. I still support what they're doing. SpaceX, too. For the longest time, some of my leftist friends would bash Musk, sometimes for reasons I thought were specious, and I'd defend him. But he keeps shooting himself in the foot. I've been dragged most reluctantly to the conclusion that they were fundamentally right about him the whole time.
