I think there’s a middle ground to the whole “she needs to communicate with us vs she owes us nothing” argument. Both are very black and white ways of looking at it.

No, she does not have an obligation to tweet us all the time or reach out or tell us she loves us or act like she did pre-2013, because yes, it did negatively impact her mental health, and it’s her right to be close or not be close with her fans. 

But let’s not forget she’s also an entertainer and a media personality who promised a product and did not deliver (yes, due to weird circumstances, but the point remains). She doesn’t need to hop on LM.com and spread love and communicate with us in-depth, she doesn’t owe us that, but anyone saying she doesn’t owe us an update of any sort whatsoever is also clearly wrong imo. She owes us an update at the least.

There was no point it literally just left us hyped for nothing and left us with nothing. 

The only reason the album cover left people hyped is because she made it a huge reveal by giving temporary artwork first - which isn't common at all, which was part of her initial rollout marketing, I'm going to assume.

It did its job effectively, but it was part of something planned prior to what's going on today that delayed the rest of the rollout as planned.

There's no way to me that that hold on the album cover WASN'T a marketing strategy.

Yes I agree! I used to go on the little monsters tinychat constantly! 

I dont mind and in some respects I've let go of that time a long time ago. But I really think a lot of the fans are still clinging to this idea of her.

It was already out there. Imagine how many more meltdowns we would have if she waited 2-3 weeks before announcing info that we already knew via the leaks. So yeah, she should've announced the cover and track list when she did.

100% agree.

I think there are soooooo many meltdowns right now, it's actually exhausting just looking at this thread. We get it, y'all are angry.

That said, I'm also upset too. I'm just not commenting it a billion times. I think she could at least give us an update about what's going on. It's been a month since her announcement, and I think it's only appropriate to let fans know what's going on.

Its because of this that wether she likes it or not, its her job to keep people entertained and interested, and at least engage with people on social media    if she isn't going to tweet, can she at least release more music?
