It tried to be serious in some aspects but failed imo, ending was more than disappointing and they literally made that popular guy so unlikable and gross with his actions.. I mean, they were hinting at some serious and more deep themes, but they ended up either too rushed or barely mentioned again. I imagine whatever flaws this has were smoothed over by the POC casting. I'm sure it's good but how could anyone tell from a site like Rotten Tomatoes? lol. I understand that another social series about ethnic issues and with acceptance is nothing wrong. And I don't care it's good that people who like such series have something to watch.
