The Leak Listener Shaming is so pretentious. I don’t think listening to a leak makes you any less of a fan. The way I see it, it’s just like you’re seeing the process of a song being made (as leaks are often demos and are different from the final product) Do I wish nothing of Gaga’s ever leaked? Yes. Do I understand that leaks are illegal and are like stealing art from artists? Yes. However, we do not live in a CD/90s world anymore where the main content you got from and artist was their physical CD. If anything, leaks are going to get worse as time goes on. I’ll put it this way: If we were not in the streaming era and let’s say you’re waiting in line outside a Gaga concert. Someone approaches you and says they have a few songs (demos) that Gaga has been working on, and asks if you want to listen. You’re honestly going to tell me you would say no? Exactly.
