Zoom call?

Excusez-moi but my internet is not fine, my internet speed is horrible during the day (during the night it's ok). This is especially bad because my students are on the other side of the world.

Edit: I forgot to say that I am not so well educated as you said (thanks for the insult btw), but it's a good deed to teach someone something new.

Guys are we really arguing? If you don’t want to come because of internet issues that’s fine. The entire point was to create a safe space and that’s what it was. About 10 users jumped in and out periodically. There wasn’t a shred of negativity. Just great discussion that lasted almost 2 hours. You’re not the only one working from home btw, I also have 5-7 meetings a day on Zoom for work purposes. Not commenting was probably better than needing to be negative about the idea. 🤦🏻‍♂️

This person basically said that were scared to start new topics and you go out of your way to make a response like that? The fact that people have been committing suicide recently due to loneliness whilst they are in lockdown makes it absolutely necessary. Idiot.

People have been commiting suicide since forever. There are suicide prevention hotlines, neighbors, some websites which help people with mental health problems. You're talking like there is no alternative.

I'm sorry if I have offended someone, which I highly doubt it because I was just telling that Europe's infrastructure when it comes to carrying these loads of traffic is not so good. There are millions of people who rely on good internet speeds for their work and their online classes. People can't get proper education anyway and you're gonna drag me for saying that unecessary video calls, live videos and binge streaming should be avoided during these times? You should think twice about who are you calling an idiot.

If there is someone here on Gagadaily that is suicidal, reply to this comment or DM and we will talk, 1-on-1 or in a group.

I simply tried to create a fun space where us who normally talk on here can have a chat about Gaga and get to know one another. Your initial comment was unnecessary.
