Then dozens before the report to WHO. You have to realize that it was drawing to the biggest holiday and the busiest transportation season there hence the exponential growth of cases in such a short period of time. Now is not the time or place to be at each other’s throats like this or bickering over varying opinions. We need to be a united front during this time of crisis. It’s fine to read up on sources and develop your interpretations based on the details, but no need for you two fabulous folks to claw at each other. Neither of you are dumb, so take deep breaths. You guys maybe too used to the freedom, democracy and liberty in the western world and FORGET there are still many places in the world which are still run by tyrannies and dictatorships. They can easily manipulate the statics and news to their people and the world. As an Asian myself, I have nothing against Chinese. What I'm against is the Chinese Communist Party which has ruled China for over 70 years. They are against humanity. Go search how they put Uyghur people into re-education camps and concentration camps. Go search the Tienanmen incident in 1989. Go search about the Hong Kong protest last year. Go search how dissident got arrested and tortured during detainment in China throughout all these years. Maybe you can publicly express your hate towards the government in the US or most part of the Europe, but that's not the case in China. There was a girl who uploaded a video showing her criticizing President Xi and splashing ink to a poster with his face in it on Twitter. She then got sent to mental hospital. I get that being first means they didn't have a blueprint as to the best way to handle the crisis...but giving false info or withholding vital evidence is pretty bad. like a cat in a sil, I observe life, moving and still.
