Those urns includes all deaths from last two months after shut down, Wuhan has ~50000 death per quarter as the article claims, so 42000 urns show that the death number is actually quite accurate. As a journalism major, I really hate how news reports nowadays don't fact check themself and misleading readers, people jump on whatever news tell you, and don't actually cares about facts, how tragic. The number is around 50,000 cremations in Q4 2019, not every quarter... the article goes on to say this is 1,583 higher than the fourth quarter of 2018, and 2,231 more than the fourth quarter of 2017.
