People can argue back and forth but at the end of the day, no matter which way you slice it, people have died and people are still dying. Without this we are left guessing, and it caused the government over the worlds not to take this disease serious enough back in January. If China fessed up back then, this is more severe than your average flu, twice to thrice as infective with the potential for a global pandemic, countries could have scrapped all flights, put in place more measure, and then the deaths, the serious cases and the measures taken would have been lighter. They only reported ot to the CDC in December when it became to big to hide. Plus, they under reported the problem... It's likely the covid virus started a couple months prior to China admitting it was a problem like a cat in a sil, I observe life, moving and still.
