rasclautmangos 2,746
That is f*cking grim. No point in going to the hospital huh? Might as well just stay home and die. This is so depressing. I'm really scared for vulnerable individuals. I have a three year old nephew with chronic lung disease

If you support this decision, you are a disgusting piece of ****. And that's a ****ing fact. Obviously very emotional, but there is literally no cure or even treatment for this disease. My best friend is supposed to go to Hawaii at the end of May. I told her to be watching what was happening. She may need to just go ahead and reschedule. she/her/hers

Yeah but a doctor isn't going to catch AIDS or ebola by treating a patient and give it to 20 other people. It's about giving those with the best fighting chance a better fighting chance and protecting the health of the only people we have who can treat the symptoms of those that are worst off They're having to literally put bodies in trucks because the morgues are full. People are being treated in hallways and parking lots because hospitals are full. There's really no choice. Breakthroughs are being made though. Several vaccines are in development, some treatments are promising, there's plenty of prevention methods (mainly staying away from people), and testing might become a lot easier soon apparently. We've probably yet to see the worst of this but I'd like to think we're currently at the most hopeless we can be. Hopefully soon the scientists of the world will find a way to beat this in everyone who gets it and help people not get it at all. We attempt to resuscitate overdoses. We attempt to resuscitate people in anaphylactic shock. We should attempt to resuscitate anyone who wishes to continue living. This literally wants to take the option away. If you support this, you are literally justifying someone dying because what they have is "icky." You are deplorable if you support this. And you better not have ANY issue with the Republicans calling for grandma and grandpa to sacrifice themselves for the goddamn economy.

Guest
And if we cannot get behind the Right to Die as a nation or nationally fund abortion services, 11 minutes ago, PartySick said: They're already risking it. If we cannot support the Right to Die as a nation, whereas a person CHOOSES FOR THEMSELVES to die, then how can we even attempt to justify this? No, I'm not downplaying the spread. I understand the spread and it is scary. It is not just your job, but it is a duty. Doctors take an oath to SAVE lives. This is the opposite.
