Thanks for asking such an important question. It's not bad to like commercial success, the question should be why do people like commercial success? For me I don't care at all because I grow up with a lot of people doing their art for a rather small public and being happy about their art without dreaming of a world wide success. I love indie artist and underground artist. You can have the most amazing experiences at their concerts and being backstage or in their studio is really exciting even if they are not Lady Gaga. I love Lady Gaga, what I feel for her is pure Love. So I really don't get why after telling the album concept (healing through pain) she postpone is a moment like this one! Let me be mad, I wasn't that mad since she cancelled the European dates and after two months she talked about her Vegas Residency. A really good way to tell those who have supported her since "Just dance" : if you want to see me you have to spent at least 2000$. She want's money and power, She don't really care about healing through the music or music not the bling. We, as fanbase we can support her, but I won't support her bullshit marketing talking. I was upset by the announcement but I’m certain Interscope said no to April 10th. If it were up to her she probably would have released it this week or sooner. In any event I agree; people need to discover other artists or find other things to keep them distracted in the meantime. The album really could’ve given us some energy and happy/fun vibes. promo wise it was a good decision but she could have changed the game with a release in this time. Now, I hope she can release it as she wants to and it hopefully won’t leak early but for me it feels not right. I hope it was her label‘s decision. I am and I will stay disappointed and sad.
