Hey, a promo idea for physical copies just occurred to me: each CD/cassette tape could be bundled with a special Chromatica-themed hand sanitizer. She'd break records for sure!

The only ones who think it should be postponed are honestly idiots. I don’t care if it sounds too rude, it’s the truth :ohwell:

That would be iconic and the GP would be all over that.

I saw someone on twitter telling Gaga to say she tested positive for corona to “drive sales up” :toofunny:

This is a ridiculous jump.

You don't need hand to hand contact to deliver an album.

And there's digital downloads.

There is literally 0 reasons to delay the album. Yes, her physical sales are gonna suck harder than the poltergeist 3000 by Professor E.Gadd, but so will everyone else's.

Go play Lamento Beyond the Void. It's 70+ hours of goodness. That's not wholesome.

You used an iconic Nintendo reference so I HAVE to stan. :firega:

From what I've seen the virus is only lethal for people who are very old or already have existing health conditions. I think we will be fine once the infection rate starts dwindling and we find ways to properly treat it. Infection rates are already dropping in China so that's a good sign.

So far 3 brave ones are in favor of postponing the album.

Edit: It went back to 2, I guess because they didn’t want to get dragged. :air:

Album will not be affected, I don’t think. It’s an unfortunate time yes, but if you check stats, streaming is actually climbing because people are stuck at home and looking for a distraction.

I only hope they’re finding innovative ways to promote it because TV production is halted at the time being. Ellen and Kelly Clarkson both shut down production on their shows until the end of the month, I expect many else will follow and the period may even be extended.

I want the music, desperately, but I also want her and everyone else to be safe.

The tour.. maybe but album release?

Honestly I think the tour is still perfect timing. Most tours, shows, and sporting events are aiming to return in July-August.

Tbh I think a lot of people have jumped on this because they lead very boring lives and hysteria is exciting. That’s not to say the virus isn’t serious, I just don’t think a lot of people legitimately are. So with that said, I think the ‘trend’, at least in the US, will pass within 2 weeks or so like the average meme cycle does and more normalcy will take hold even though the disease will still be around.

so to that end, no, don’t postpone it. People are fickle.
