It’s an unfortunate time yes, but if you check stats, streaming is actually climbing because people are stuck at home and looking for a distraction. I only hope they’re finding innovative ways to promote it because TV production is halted at the time being. Ellen and Kelly Clarkson both shut down production on their shows until the end of the month, I expect many else will follow and the period may even be extended. That’s not to say the virus isn’t serious, I just don’t think a lot of people legitimately are. So with that said, I think the ‘trend’, at least in the US, will pass within 2 weeks or so like the average meme cycle does and more normalcy will take hold even though the disease will still be around. so to that end, no, don’t postpone it.
