Got Dynamite 0
Weren't tickets like... $800? If she took 15k that's 12m haha goodness. But that's the premium . I think the gross will be around 2,5-3,5M if she take the 15k people. The most expensive ticket is around US$490. madgaga 1
I am a huge M fan and she remains #1 in my books but in all honesty my BTWB experience in Paris was more fun as a concert experience than both of my MDNA experiences in NY and Miami, Gaga had the Crowd was on their feet screaming and dancing from beginning to end. Was pure fun and she really engaged and drew the audience in. MDNA is superior in terms of production and visuals and Madonna is a master on stage but the set list is pretty dismal and seems to sap the energy and enthusiasm out the crowd . The show runs on autopilot and there is little room for spontaneity and few moments for her to engage with the audience . So many people remained seated for most of the show and just did not seem to get into it or connect. Just my humble opinion. Sold out or not I suspect Latin america are likely to favor the BTWB in the end which is really all that matters. Got Dynamite 0
And another thing. Now is important she back to Latin America. Here in Brazil, a lot of people that went to the concert made a good impression. A lot of my friends said that they will go on the next time, because the media here and the public made a good impression from the tour after the show. Next time she will probably do a lot better, and more if she don't let just 3 months to sell. And this time she took around 106,000 people. :) Edited November 24, 2012 by Bruno Brito
Got Dynamite 0
And next time she won't do shows next do Madonna, probably.
Rollercoaster 2
I think the next tour will see the tickets on sale for a good 5 months for bigger venues. Announcing so late is a silly thing to do.
jhonyguy04 3
some factors here I must say is excuses. I don't think Madonna, or the country, or the time lag is a factor here. Again, in Mexico, with TMB she sold 3 stadiums. lol. she needs to make those hits to bring people in. the hardcore fans that dress up and hangout on forums are irrelevant compare to the GP that she needs in order to bring those big numbers. madgaga 1
And next time she won't do shows next do Madonna, probably. regardless and All things being equal I suspect Madonna may have a harder time selling as many tickets next time she tours Latin america whereas Gaga will likely increase her numbers but the dust has yet to settle and MDNA tour has yet to reach Latin soil. You don't ever have a positive thing to say. Stop embarrassing yourself. The "era" started 2 years ago pretty much and ended just over a year ago. During TMB she was touring from the start of an album release which served as self promotion. Learn the difference between reason and excuses. Nobody needs Gaga to create any generic music to sell out a Costa Rico show. If she had toured earlier with the album and had tickets for everywhere on sale longer then S.A. would be sold out or closer to it. But she didn't. Too bad. Who cares? And with a HUGE promo. Both are promoted by Live nation and had equal publicity. . .the reality- Madonna has 30+ years worth of fans in south america who in some places have never seen her perform live. regardless of when the tickets went on sale she is going to be the bigger draw. Its not as though Gaga isn't doing extremely well for an artist that is only 4 years into her career and could well be on track to match Madonnas numbers or even surpass her especially if her new album soars. It already happened in Chile. Edited November 24, 2012 by madgaga

Griffin 6
And next time she won't do shows next do Madonna, probably. The ARTPOP Tour will probably void of Madonna, like the Monster Ball. She only tours like every 4 years.
