I’m so heartbroken lol.
I thought he stood for something but I guess not.

I supported him since 2018

Well seems like the US will either elect the orange man again or someone who will maintain the status quo. It's a shame, but considering how the younger generations support more socially democratic principles, I think it's only inevitable that in the coming decade or two the US will get their first Sanders-like President :vegas:

You mean all the women, men,  POC, and LGBTQ people who want everybody to have health care, the ones who think people shouldn't be burdened with debt for getting an education, the ones who want to protect the environment, the ones who want to stop immigrant families from getting broken apart and essentially sent to jail, the ones who want the disproportionate amount of POC out of prison for non-violent marijuana charges, the ones who want stronger gay rights, the ones who want out of endless wars.

You're looking like a real good person right now. Sike.

I'm one of the people who disagrees with this. I'm a POC, first generation immigrant and I am a Biden supporter. I don't need to discuss my views, but it is important to acknowledge that other people have different views. This is a time to work together and come together. Not to fight over who is right and wrong. Fighting won't get anything done. Look at the red vs. blue right now.

I will say, though, that my reasoning and choice is due to the fact that Bernie has great ideas. Ideas. But I do not see him getting anything done as he does not understand how politics work.

If we want a Democratic future, we cannot pit ourselves against the "other" candidate. If Bernie moves forward, even though I do not believe he is fit to be president, then I will 100% back him as the nominee. I wish people could say the same about Biden.

One problem is that youth turnout hasn't been strong this round. I'm not sure why.

I hope more younger people will at least come out to vote in the general election.
