What I mean is, women still haven't gained the same position in the music industry as men. I mean, just look at JT and Daft Punk who both took a good 6-7 yr. breaks each and look at them. SCALPING effortlessly. Then take a look at good ol' Legend X and her Bionic after a 4 year break (that was even with a Greatest Hits in between) and Nelly Furtado. 

 

And look at all of the top streamed albums WW on Spotify. The first 27 albums are ALL men except P!nk (well... let me not. ) I just think the GP is shifting their interest from women to men. 

 

BUT I'm also glad to see that C&GI is doing well, because I really thought dance music was losing it's dominance in the US, so it's nice to see another dance song aside from S&S doing well. Plus, it gives me hope that whatever Britney releases will be successful. 

 

I'm just saying this means nothing. The women will come back HUGE later this year, and the entire industry is aware of that. This past year is like the first time men have dominated since Lady Gaga tbh.
