We've seen plenty songs succeed on radio that aren't generic pop music... The only reason radio added them is because the public's demand (sales wise) pretty much forced them to. But she has the sound that appeals to some public right know, if she can get her name out in the US she might have a chance of being somewhat successful chart wise.
