Did the suburbs swing left after the redistricting? Or was that a different thing?

I'm confident that Dems can get PA back.

That's a whole different issue; in 2018, in the congressional elections, redistricting helped Democrats secure additional House seats because our congressional districts weren't a gerrymandered mess anymore.  But turnout in the suburbs wasn't due to redistricting, or at least not in any large part.  From what I can tell, it's just a severe example of the trends we've seen since 2016 of former moderate Republican suburbs becoming moderate Democrat suburbs.

This article has some really good visualizations for PA trends:   https://www.inquirer.com/politics/inq/pennsylvania-polarization-election-results-democrats-republicans-trends-map-20190207.html

annnnnd with that we're going to lose in 2020 imo cause, while i am not sure anybody at this point can win in the general against trump, the brokered convention is obviously unfair and will turn A LOT of voters off i feel and we will definitely lose the general :( democrats just can't stop ****ing it up . even if they're so afraid of sanders because they don't feel he can win the general, they simply must let the process play out as fairly as possible idk wtf they're doing

While some Bernie fans will definitely be turned away, I don't think Biden's nomination equates to him losing. I'm over this sensationalized rhetoric that Biden will lose terribly.

Some things to keep in mind:

Hillary, even without campaigning in the Midwest which arguably cost her WI and MI, still managed to get over 65M votes which was more than Obama got in 2012.

However, Hillary was LARGELY disliked by the general population as her favorability was in the dumpster next to Trump. I'm way more confident in Biden than with Hillary for that main reason. We're already seeing record breaking turnout on the Democrat side. The black vote is key. And I hate to say it, but he's not a woman. And if Hillary was a man, she probably would've had a much better shot of winning.

Bloomberg is continuing to slide in both Texas and Cali.  He might miss statewide delegate viability in both states, I-

Whispering

It appears the Young Turks won’t be getting their first member of Congress, based on early results in the special election for California’s 25th Congressional District. Cenk Uygur only has about 5 percent of the vote, way back from the 20-plus percent that three other candidates have.

Glad to hear that he doesn’t stand a chance!

I just realized Biden won Massachusetts - my home state :bradley:

This whole time I thought MA stanned Bernie. So sad... :bradley:

The tears of BernieBros were absolutely delicious this morning.
I even tuned in to TYT to watch Ana Kasparian's fumes. I didn't want to give them an extra view, but it was worth it.
Biden winning Texas is the icing on the cake.

So if things stay this way we're sure that, at best, Trump will be defeated by  a candidate who will never do enough for the environment, LGBT rights or to fight poverty etc etc.

You called her "a selfish cash grabbing BITCH"

My point stands.

When a dude would be called a " selfish cash grabbing d*ck" so no it doesn't.

He was right about you using the woman card wrongly here.

I understand that you’re upset about your candidate underperforming but that is no excuse for rudeness.

Since you were talking about sanders supporters being hypocrites in one of your comment here, where were you when the exact same type of comment were made towards them? :)

Cause I saw it quite a few times and you or the people who liked this comment of yours weren't complaining about rudeness in those cases. That's ironic.

Well it's over. Biden is getting the nomination. And he's going to lose hard. I predict a smaller turnout than 2016

I saw a video with him meltdowning and almost crying. It was enjoyable, until he started the insults against Biden. Is he supposed to be a good example of the Bernie supporter? Because the way he acted is the reason why people have problems with Bernie and his supporters.:selena:

Except that the turn out in the places where Biden won was higher. He didnt even make the promises Bernie did, but he delivered. :laughga:

Yeah ok. Try to convince people that never voted for president to vote for Biden, the guy that gropes little girls on live television. And he is so inspiring with his policies! Which are they again? Not being Trump?
