There is a difference between why she made the album and how they market it.

Ahh, okay, now i get it. I understood it wrong. I'm a millenial too, but have no idea what TikTok is (also not from US), but i havent listen to radio in years. 

But every artist will try to catch as many people as they can with their songs, and i don't think that's an easy job, cause, if you try it to hard, then you look a bit pathetic (like when 50+ stars act like they are hip and 20 again...). I feel more like Gaga just did what she wanted to, and had fun.

I find that she tried with Cure to appeal to younger audience, cause it had that typical sound that was on the charts all the time.

I've definitely always related more to Gen X than my own (millennial) as I grew up before the internet and right when it was coming out. So I still prefer not technology-related, analog things. Whereas most Millennials are known for tech-obsessed. 

(I also majored in marketing)

Her team is really smart by creating a video that can be mimicked and recreated and uploaded. Obviously her previous ones could too but there was definitely a meeting about making the choreo more accessible to the GP so that it could appeal to TikTok-ers and the like. They are going ALL OUT this era. 

In short:

Joanne/ASIB was geared towards OG fans and older generations

LG6 (may be) geared towards both with an emphasis on younger generations due to its "shareable" qualities. 

Only time will tell.

I didn't explain it that well originally 

I'm 30 and just found out what TikTok was during the Joanne era because Gaga uploaded a video. Otherwise, I'd have no idea what it was besides a Ke$ha song

I never used Snapchat, cause nobody in Germany cares about it, but i just googled TikTok, to me it looks like what Vine used to be, or similar to it.
