And also how she still plans to release surprises soon. If the album really is delayed all the way until fall then I don’t see the point in getting our hopes up. ModernEcstasy 9,231 Posted March 30, 2020 Share Posted March 30, 2020 I think the thing that’s frustrating me the most with this delay is that no date was given, but she was able to say things will happen “very soon”. How could she possibly know that when there is no way of knowing what will be happening in the world during the coming weeks/ months. I think that's clear. She still hopes to see us on tour, but realistically, be prepared for that to be pushed back. Don't get your hopes up for anything. Besides, if she does release it early, it's better to have your expectations lowered so that way when she does exceed them, you'll be happy. I understand her tour will probably be cancelled. I don't want to see it cancelled because I purchased a ticket (that I still haven't gotten lol), but realistically it will probably happen. They're gonna hold onto those dates as long as they can and hope for the best. She wasn't just gonna say her tour is postponed because she doesn't want to decide that far in advance. And I think you might be grossly misjudging just how much goes into these tours. Although it's only 6 dates she does have to rent all the stage equipment for it. She has to book the transportation for her entire team. That's all her special effects people, the people who set everything up, her sound team, her band, her personal team, and anyone else involved. She has to get together the logistics for how all the equipment travels as well. She has to find open dates for each tour location. There's probably stuff I'm missing inbetween, but she probably also puts insurance on the tour, which is gonna take a lot of documentation as well. It is not simply throwing a dart on the calendar and that's it. And keep in mind all of this needs to be planned around any kind of promo she does, Enigma, Haus Labs, any Born This Way Foundation stuff, and whatever else she's doing.
