I'm very upset and disappointed by her decision to delay her album, but I'm not going to resort to calling her names, saying that I hope her album leaks because it's "what she deserves", shaming her on social media, etc., etc. Of course we would love to get the album ASAP! As for if people should get new movies, music, etc...I think this has to be on a case-by-case basis. If companies think that it's worth it to them to just show movies on streaming or to just put an album out digitally, then that's on them and the people working on the album, movie, etc. Obviously Gaga wants to put this album out ASAP. Do you think she wants to delay one of her most anticipated albums? She's probably the one most upset and disheartened by this situation. It's also obvious that she wanted to do extensive promo for this album. This is just my speculation, but I really do think that she wanted Born This Way levels of promo for Chromatica. She said in her Zane Lowe interview that she wanted to make this album because she wanted "a majority of people to hear it and dance to it". How does she do that? Through promo. I think that Gaga and her team are taking this time to find ways to work around this whole situation and hopefully do some more online/digital promo. If that's the case, I can see her releasing the album early. If she wants to do mostly physical promo though, then she has no choice but to release the album in the fall or winter, but like I said, she wants to release Chromatica ASAP, so I don't think that's going to happen.
