If you live in diverse cities and all the people you had a thing with in your life are white, you most likely have a racial preference and it isn't normal. How stupid does that sound? she can date whoever she wants, whatever race/ethnicity they come from. And actually evolutionarily, people naturally have racial preferences. Nothing wrong with that. I’m sure if someone of color came along that Gaga was really into, she’d be open to dating.

To have racial preferences is to be a colorist, which is borderline discreet racism. The ultimate definition of "not being racist" is to be color blind, is to not differentiate/favor between people based on their race in any way. Second, statistically speaking, if you live in diverse cities, and you're well in your thirties, you must've met dozens of amazing people of color over the span of 10-15 years. This notion that "oh well, all the people that I was interested in my life happened to be white" is a poor excuse for saying that you simply have a racial preference. This is why mixing is at a very low level in the United States. Because many people are still internally racist. To be racism-free goes well beyond writing on twitter that you support black lives matter, it's about making a change in your own personal life too and be aware of any racial biases you may have in picking friends or dates. Actually I know many POC who would call BS and say “color blindness” perpetuates racism but go off I guess. Gaga ain’t a closet racist for liking so many derpy white boys who bring nothing to the table (#sorrynotsorry) - she’s just basic AF when it comes to men. Basic does not equal racist. No. Color blindness doesn't perpetuate racism. It's the gold standard of equality. If you're judging by qualification, and you have a black applicant, white applicant and asian applicant, if the black applicant is the most qualified, then you pick the black applicant. If the asian applicant is the most qualified, then you pick the asian. If the white applicant is the most qualified, then you pick the white applicant. Affirmative action only exists in the U.S., to make up for the atrocious levels of racism this country had. It's not the gold standard. And it isn't sustainable in the long-run. It is more of a temporary measure to help communities that have been long discriminated against catch up to the white majority. But the day when we don't have to force companies to hire POC and they do it on their own, that's when we can say that society has evolved to become almost racist-free
