This is proven in the way in which Nicki talked about Gaga during her come up vs. once she became more established. She was open to working with her in an enthusiastic manner then turned cynical. My personal theory is that Nicki reached out to work with her as she has everyone, but Gaga was on top of the world at that time and never gave Nicki the time of day. I think they had a lot of drama behind the scenes involving Nicki working with both RedOne and Laurieanne Gibson (who im sure had a lot of sh*t to talk about Gaga after their split). The way Nicki not once or twice but 3 times now has randomly thrown Gagas name under the bus while defending herself is also proof of her not having much respect for her. Even though Gaga has never said a word, DJWS insulted Starships back in the day, I wouldn't be surprised if Gaga felt Nicki from a pop perspective at least was beneath her. And considering Nicki cares so much about charts and stats vs artistry, I dont think Gaga would have much respect for that. I just don't think they mesh.
