It's unpleasant to look at, sure, and yes perhaps they could've gassed the chickens or whatnot first before burying them, but if it weren't for the virus, they wouldn't need to cull them either. Diseases get created in the poor living circumstances of factory farm animals and then they have to be mass terminated early. This is not a Chinese problem. This is is factory farming.
