Doesn't discount the fact that millions of apathetic voters around the country who think this democracy is a failure and doesn't work for them will have that belief vindicated by what happened last night. The point isn't that Trump is using it to his political advantage to paint the DNC as clowns. The point is that so many voters that could turn out for progressive policies and politicians that actually represent their interests will see this news as cause to continue being disinterested in the system. Just the number of conversations I had from canvassing in Iowa last weekend for Bernie with voters who didn't give a damn... It's really disheartening. Fun Fact: when we get to california, it takes weeks to complete the vote count. In 2016 Hillary was leading (I think, i may not be exact on how it started) 67-33 on the night of the election but the final results ended up as 53-46.
