FATCAT 60,900
I have a feeling almost every single Warren supporter will be jumping to Bernie. They understand that this is an all or nothing victory, and if we split between two candidates it'll be that much harder. This. Morning Joe is incredibly disconnected from reality on a lot of subjects. It's pretty clear that Mika is good friends with the Bidens and wants to help them as much as possible. I listen almost ever morning, they are a dicey bunch. I also despise that they put Trump's old friend up there some mornings like he has something to say, when most of it is just bs. Bt1 5,213
Caucus is so stupid. Who invented it? Its 2020. Bernie and Biden are the favourites, but that 15% that the candidates must get to be eligible makes this so unpredictable.

People are scared because he isn’t losing momentum and unfortunately Biden isn’t the end all be all candidate they hoped for.

Even in the primary elections, you only get delegates if you reach the same 15% threshold. So it's basically the same except in caucuses, you get to change your vote if your person doesn't get 15%. HorusRa2 5,005
Also for those interested, here are some videos that talk about both how the caucus works as well as the historical and relevant geography of Iowa and what each area means relative to the demographics, population density, etc.

I will never forget on SNL’s Weekend Update when Michael Che made a joke about how the Democratic party tried to replace a charismatic man like Obama who went on the premise of hope with Hillary who barely had a vision for her presidency. I feel Biden is the same way; running just to say “hey guys I’m not Donald Trump so vote for me.” Not saying Obama was perfect but like damn we have better options than Biden. I stand behind Bernie but if push came to shove I’d rather take my chances on anyone else running besides Biden.

I really don't like Warren at all. I think she's a lot of really negative things. But I don't think when we look at actual votes that we should vote shame anybody. I appreciate and respect somebody who is willing to be that one voice and stand for what they believe in.
PoshLife 17,019
RCP's commentary is usually too conservative for my blood, but I think this is a good read in terms of what the plausible outcomes tonight are, and how it would affect how people view the top-tier candidates in the weeks to come: https://www.realclearpolitics.com/articles/2020/02/03/four_scenarios_for_tonights_caucuses_142298.html The summary is basically that unless Biden wins or finishes in a strong second, it will be much harder for him to make the electability case (duh) and weed out the other centrist candidates to ensure he maintains a viable path to the nomination. Particularly if Klobuchar surprises.
