He can’t be in the debates, because of the guidelines set to qualify.

He could be in the debates if he wanted to. Like very easily. All he'd have to do is accept donations and he could very easily get on just by polling. Would he even attend even if he qualified is the question.

He is not. He didnt make the cut, because it didnt campaign in the first states giving that he started late his campaign.

He could've campaigned in the early states and loaded them down with ads just like Steyer is doing. He just chose not to. I'm very certain that he talked with Democratic strategists before launching to plan it that way. To be the last bastion of the moderate Democrats to stop a Sanders nomination as it's becoming increasingly likely that Biden is going to lose the first three states, potentially even South Carolina, and come limping into Super Tuesday.

After all, Bloomberg did say the only reason he would really consider running is if he saw a Sanders or Warren (which wasn't going to happen lol) nomination coming true. And here we are...

Well he literally started his campaign 2 months ago and is now in 4th place (RCP avg). And he wasn't in people's heads before that. It's quite impressive.

Well, yeah...but he is funding his own campaign.

He could still be in debates if he wanted to. Steyer is funding his own campaign too, but accepts donations as well.

Right, he is. Bloomberg is not.

Just cause one believes the source of the money is important doesn’t mean money isn’t effective.

This is such a pointless conversation and very “you participate in society”

Also, why are you tracking every thread I make? :rip:

I feel weird.

Oh girl, it's called Google. You can easily look things up when you remember bits and pieces. I looked it up and low and behold you were the one who started it. In that thread most if not all of Bernie's followers downplayed the importance of money in a presidential campaign.

Also, if  the source of the money is important to you then Bernie is the one who started a Super Pac and his co-chair Nina Turner ran it with undisclosed donors who have donated more the a million dollars in individual donations.  You know "Dark Money."

I'm the last person to come to the defense of Pete Buttigeig, but he is at least participating in the process, isn't intentionally missing debates and ignoring the first four states. Bloomberg is literally using his immoral power to try and buy an election and give it to a candidate of his choosing at the convention. His campaign spokeperson already said he's not trying to win the election but is trying to prevent Bernie from winning.

Well duh :fan:

Despite what some people might think, I don't make **** up for fun, and I'm not a conspiracy theorist, I'm just very involved and pay a lot of attention.

We should not be surprised, Bloomberg's political record is absolute garbage. And he's been attacking Bernie on his Jewishness recently :rip: On top of that, TBH, I don't trust any Billionaire who claims to support wealth redistribution, but is against or highly skeptical of even the idea of a wealth tax. These same people go on tours around the world bragging about how proud they are to be part of the Giving Pledge - a pledge that they have no obligation to follow through with, no specifications of how much money to give, where it should go, etc. :ladyhaha: It's basically saying "we'll give up like, idk half(??) of our wealth - eventually, like when we die. I mean, our kids will still be rich, and those fortunes will still grow exponentially, but its the thought that counts right?!"

The idea that Bill Gates would give up $50 billion and then still act like, "well at least I still have $50 billion left" is truly obscene :rip:
