Iran's President warns European soldiers "could be in danger"

Iran's president has today warned that European soldiers 'could be in danger' in a threat to the West after Britain, France and Germany ramped up pressure on Tehran over the faltering nuclear deal. 

Hassan Rouhani extended Iran's threats to Europe after the three nations triggered the pact's 'dispute resolution mechanism' over Iran's failure to comply with the deal.  

'Today, the American soldier is in danger, tomorrow the European soldier could be in danger,' Rouhani said. 

Europe and Iran both say they want to save the deal but Tehran has been steadily abandoning its nuclear limits since Donald Trump pulled out of the pact in 2018.

I would agree if you were talking about any other middle eastern country but Iran hasn’t been invated by a european country since the second world war because it was on the german side. Iran was also never colonized. There have been coup d’etats staged by the Brits and  the americans but I don’t get what the rest of europe has to to with that.

Money. Big oil and energy corporations are based in Iran. Even if the Iranian Islamic republic is considered as an enemy and tensions are important, strong cultural and economic exchanges and agreements exists. Plus the diaspora is important in West Europe and imperialism (mostly British) is still very active on this part of the world. 

Also talking politics while quoting tabloïds shouldn't be allowed.
