So a friend played me the demo - it's a version with only Nicole singing and...

Oh My Gosh.

Lyrics - "If I say jump you just say how high, I think you might love me to death," This is my favourite part. But the rest of the lyrics are tight and has been written so well and Nicole slays them.

The song as a whole is gonna be a Bop. I hope they market it right and push it as much as possible. It would be nice to hear this on the radio as much as Ed Sheeran and Bruno Mars play.

I think if they added the "Don't cha" samples in it like they did with the Xfactor Mix it would add 10000x value to the song and sounds immense.

A great marketing ploy that works is when someone releases like, 3 solid singles at once that just flood charts. If someone doesn't like one, they might prefer another and get into the PCD's where as if they don't like the first track, they may go off them and there's less hype for the next single. (Ed and JB did this well)

Among people's responses, some already heard the file and some are already predicting the single release around the 24th. My thirst is real

They say at first it was only her, and given the big acclaim they had in the X-Factor performance the other girls started to record some verses

I don't get why people make a big deal about the fact the others don't sing. They are dancers, that's the whole point. Why do we need to hear them?

From what I understand I think some of the members want to sing and want to have at least creative input into the groups direction. Ashley even said the reason the group broke up in the first place was because Nicole got to do whatever she wanted and have the sole spotlight while the rest of the group was told to shut up and do what they were told, and some of the other girls have echoed this.

While I do agree I don't think there's anything wrong with having one singer and four dedicated dancers, It just seems bizarre to me that they could be taking the same approach that caused them to break up in the first place.

It's too early to tell from one song alone anyway- we'll just have to wait and see

Well, you're not totally wrong here lol. Before taking in Nichole and recording songs, they were a burlesque show inviting other celebs to perform with them, Kim being one of them:

I read the whole point of making this group in the first place was to give Nichole a push in the music industry, as a stepping stone for her career.

There've been loads of insta videos of all the girls in the recording studio, so i'm pretty sure they're all in the new music.
