Halsey has 3 albums to begin with and multiple multiplatinum WW hits, a fanbase, etc. so there's that I guess, not everyone has that !

Halsey is as US-centric as rarely any "big" artist has been. Eminem bowed with 434k units with his last surprise album Kamikaze and I expect nothing less than 300k for his new album in the first US week. Halsey debuted with Kingdom 1ith 106k which is less than 1/4th of Eminems last album first week. Halsey, Mac and nobody else will get the #1 next that week.

I have no idea how to interpret this but mostly I think the song is loosing steam. It's best metric, Itunes, is shrinking fast and the rest is either stable or slightly going down as well. The song fought like hell but the label decided to never really promote it. I think it's better to go back to weekly updates. Maybe it'll turn around but I doubt it at this point.

I'm halfway through the new Eminem album and it's definitely better than his two previous albums and even Sheeran kinda fits. This could become bigger than Kamikaze.
