Im not expecting him to be a Bernie Sanders or a progressive. Im not even a progressive, im a Libertarian centrist but even I know Obama is a right winger. Being Charismatic and nice like Obama does not make you a moderate. Tulsi is a great example of being an actual moderate. If Bush or Trump did half the things Obama did, people would go insane. I don't find that an accurate way at all to determine someone's values. ItWasntLaauv 6,392
Bernie’s great and I would gladly vote for him if he ended up being the Dem candidate, but Yang is the candidate for me at the moment, plus lots of Republicans like Yang too, he’s just so likeable and his ideas are so fresh and understandable. I could see some extra polarization among voters if Bernie was the final candidate.

Thomas P 18,479
The sad thing is, Trump is gonna win again. Bernie is my favourite candidate on either side, but if he gets in then I really don’t see the Dems pulling out a victory. I’m a simple guy to please, if you like Melodrama, we chill. HorusRa2 5,005
The most overlooked fact is that Bernie silently won over the Latino vote. The fact is mail-in ballots for California go out the day of th Iowa caucus. The fact that the Sanders campaign has won over Latinos and is leading in CA right now could give him a landslide victory in California. You add that with his great positioning in IA/NH as well as Nevada with no clear opposition (Pete in Iowa, Warren in NH, Biden in SC, etc), he’s in the best position of everyone. Sadly. What really matters is the feasibility of it all. No one president will get us a single payer system, federally funded college, and a 100% renewable energy electric grid. That said, it matters when one president will try and get us on the path to those results. Right now, Sanders and Warren are the only ones I trust to even attempt that. Shes exactly like Obama, runs on being a progressive, but is actually a republican. Shes also a huge fan of Hilary and calls her for advice, she supported her over Bernie. You are full of half truths. Half truths are lies. they also dont create a constructive discussion.

I did not claim she called Obama, I said she still calls Hilary and takes advise from her for the 2020 race. 2. The fact is Bernie and Hilary were both running for the primary, and she chose to endorse Hilary. That is a fact, not a half truth. Many Republicans chose Trump because he was the obvious winner in the republican party, is it half truth to call them Trump voters?

She endorsed Hillary in June at the end of the primary. Bernie already lost. He just didnt drop down cause wanted to go until the end, but it wasn't a path to victory anymore for him when she endorsed Hillary. So she basically endorsed her against Trump, which was the right thing to do. That's why I say this is an half truth. Technically, she endorsed Hillary, but the reality is the primary fight was over. The prize was already somewhere else.
