I wanted to wait at least for the trailer before giving any opinions on this film, but now I can confidently say that I’m not a big fan of some of the creative choices they’ve made. I applaud Greta for going for something different, but I’m just not into the whole 80’s sci-fi/fantasy vibes and the rock and roll inspired visuals. It just doesn’t feel like Narnia to me.

You can tell this is a high budget film, but when Jadis’ dress feels like something a pop star would wear for a talk show… It just feels odd. Hopefully it’ll be a great adaptation nevertheless.

Not sure, probably. So far we only know Greta will at least doing two Narnia movies.

Just double checked, Netflix is rebooting it and going in chronological order. So TLTWATW is next.

The rock n roll shift is incredibly jarring. I was very excited for this movie as I loved the books growing up. I'm still excited, but I'm not entirely sold.
