Not really, but I thought they would at least acknowledge what had happened. I guess they pretty much asked her to keep her antidemocratic views to herself until the release of the filmĀ But if Hollywood has a minimum of integrity, I believe it pretty much doomed any consideration forĀ a Mulan 2. I read theyĀ donāt make them singĀ out of cultural respect, whatĀ are your thoughts on this? However in the dialogue thereās a few nods to the songs: āIāll bringĀ honor to us allā, āIām gonna make a man out of youā, and the Reflection versiĆ³n in the background, whichĀ is actually a nice homage. Mulan has my favorite Disney Soundtrack out of every one, and doing this in this movie doesnāt bother me, mainly because I wonāt feel like theyāve done the songs wrong.
