Is LG6 Gaga’s most anticipated album?

In a sense, yes it is her most anticipated. Is it her most hyped? Absolutely not. We have BTW and ARTPOP which will remain her most hyped albums/eras ever.

Joanne was a surprise to her hardcore fanbase, musically speaking. There was excitement and anticipation for the album because it was her first body of work in 3 years. 

Stans on GGD might say there’s no hype or anticipation for LG6 but I disagree. After Joanne and ASIB (even C2C) we have no idea what direction she’s going in. Will it be country influenced? Will it be electronic influenced?? Will it be jazz influenced??? Obviously I’m no dummy and know most of the producers rumored for LG6 but as a fan since 2009 myself, you never know what move Gaga is going to make next. It’s the unknown that makes me believe that this album is anticipated and casual listeners are excited for what’s to come.

Most of you probably were too young to remember, but her biggest hype was BTW. It was all over the place months before the single was released. Everyone talked about it, even GP was anxiously expecting it. It was not just about popularity, she was perceived as a pop genius. It had nothing to do with LG6, even some fans are tired of waiting for it by now. She is acclaimed today, but it's a completely different impact.

I have the feeling that rn the hype is not enormous (like it was for BTW) and the gp is not that excited for the album, but at the same time it seems like people are being very curious whenever she does something music related. The fact that we don't have real explanations or tease of what's to come but just some weird/funny cryptic things sometimes is responsible of this situation. When she announced BTW, she also said when it would drop and she already sang the chorus of the lead at thet VMA in her meet dress. I think that there will a huge hype for LG6 when she will anounce or drop something. The GP finally understood that she was not just a crazy superstar, but a very talented woman  that can surprise you anytime, and this is what makes the wait for LG6 special, we have absolultly NO idea of what's to come.

Everybody who's not too young knows that Born This Way was easily one of the most (if not the most) anticipated albums of all time. It really felt like Jesus was about to come back

That said I think it's safe to say that there's A LOT of hype surrounding this album because Gaga herself repeaked in terms of popularity and got a lot of exposure in the past months especially to people who stuck to scrutinizing her in the past and now are starting to recognize her artistry (finally!), so naturally everyone's eyes are on her.

I think what hurt eras like ARTPOP and Joanne was the lack of proper promotion (more so with ARTPOP) including label boycott and poorly chosen singles. I feel like LG6 is gonna do well regardless but if her and her team play the right cards that's gonna be extremely beneficial.

But also I feel like people tend to exaggerate when they claim that she stopped being relevant and popular after BTW and it just comes off as petty and ignorant. She's never stopped being an A-lister and that's a fact.

Now, whether all this attention and hype will be entirely positive or not we'll have to wait and see but all in all it's a very exciting (and frustrating, but mostly because Stefani like to torture us) time to be a Gaga fan.

Also not just the album but everything that comes with. Visual, hair, makeup, wardrobe, graphic design, stage design,merch...

There is anticipation ,not only among fans this time.

Gaga re established herself as a singer,musician and entertainer for a bigger ,a much bigger audience.

But she didn’t forget to play The Hype Game. That hype ,as months go by ,keep on creating more expectations.........and then if the choice of the first single is not up to those expectations,then the disappointment takes place.

You don’t have to be negative or lil detective to see it this way,it’s just common sense. Gaga doesn’t need the hype game anymore .

No. I would say Born This Way was her most anticipated album and one of the most anticipated in pop music for the recent years. The hype was absolutely high. She had several appearances in TV, the “Egg”, the Judas controversy, Madonna feud, Scheisse and Government Hooker teases, the Farm game, Gagavisions on YouTube with more teasers, Hair and TEOG promo singles and the final Monster Balls with HBO recording...
