My mom lives near cocoa beach and had to evacuate. I live in the Orlando area so didn’t have to evacuate but still over at the in-laws for a long weekend! It will be interesting to see what happens. When hurricane Irma blew through I was in Toronto seeing the Joanne World Tour and then Gaga at TIFF!! We were stuck in Toronto bc there were no flights allowed back to FL! Fun fact- I’m a teacher and I taught 2nd grade for 3 years. It’s actually a part of the Florida science curriculum to go over natural emergency protocols! So Floridian of us... It’s basically a bomb stalling over them for 24hrs+ constantly destroying everything and not to mention the flooding. Large parts of these islands will be completely underwater.
