The Monster Ball 2.0 is overrated!

I have watched TMB 2.0 DVD many times as well as the others (and attended Enigma), and it made me wonder what was so “Amazing” about it. It’s a cool tour don’t get me wrong, but Gaga has had WAY better ones since then.

The BTWTB, Artrave, JWT & even Enigma are all miles better. They have better stages, stage production, props, outfits and are more interesting.

Now please don’t come for me, this is just what I have observed and it’s in the “opinion” tag for a reason.

This is just what I think!

Anyone agree?

I don't agree. You have to consider the time when each tour took place and the given pop culture landscape at that time. Those factors play a huge role in why  the monster all 2.0 is considered so iconic.

Monster Ball 2.0 was made when Gaga was completely broke and in a very short span of time. Doing all they did in weeks and with the budget it's extraordinary what came out. She brought all her greatest ideas since then, did a very creative storyline that became a trademark for her. It's was a peak of creativity.

I prefer the BTWB and find artRAVE completely underrated but there's no way M 2.0 can be dismissed

I agree.  I think JWT and ENIGMA easily outperform

During JWT she was excited and was showing the full potential of her vocals

ENIGMA, was an experience that Gaga fans had never had before, all the theatricality took over the show and it was innovative.

While I think it's slightly overrated, it was still a superb show. And certainly miles ahead of Enigma in every way.

BTWB had a much better stage and costumes, JWT had much better vocals. But MBT was the birthplace of so much of her iconography, and is still the basis of her shows.

Paparazzi, where she kills the Fame Monster (her best prop ever to this day) with a pyrotechnic bra remains one of her top performances.

No. I was there. It was a magical one of a kind experience. It definitely is not overrated.

Did I just see someone say that ENIGMA and the JWT are better than the Monster Ball 2.0 when Enigma is basically a cheapened version of the Monster Ball? There's really no flavor to this...

MB 2.0 was very groundbreaking when it came out - popstars weren't doing anything like it at the time

True. It was amazing for its time and extremely impressive for someone in their second year of their career but her vocals were... Questionable and mediocre at best. That got much better over time. It's clear she was overworked.

It did have a lot of theatrics and attention to detail which I miss.

I agree. JWT & BTWB are better tours. However, TMB 2.0 was impressive for a broke b*tch instantly rising to fame.
