However, you are not allowed to smoke: - At outdoor restaurants - In buildings where children and youth frequent (including school yards and playgrounds at leisure centers and preschools) - On outdoor platforms. If you are traveling by public transport, you may not smoke. - At health and medical care premises. - In premises intended as common places for example appartment buildings or complexes. Or special care facilities such as nursing homes or other service establishments. - At entrances where the public has access (You cannot not smoke outside a store) - At fenced sport fields. You may not smoke in the stands, or at the football pitch if the facility is fenced. - Hotels should offer non-smoking rooms. - Municipalities can since previously introduce local smoking bans in reference to their charters. Several municipalities, for example, have introduced smoking bans on public beaches. Source in Swedish And in Sweden we have a regulations on alcohol. It's only sold through the state owned Systembolaget which is not allowed to make a profit on sold products (hence they are not allowed to have sales or special offers or do wider marketing of their products). Beers and ciders with less than 3,5% alcohol may be sold in regular grocery stores. Systembolaget is also generally open between 10am-6pm. Saturdays and other red days they may close at 2pm or not open at all. On Sundays they are closed (at least where I live). So if you want to buy alcohol in Sweden you better plan it according to the old store allowed to sell it. Sweden has free healthcare payed by tax payers and other people shouldn't be on the hook for people's bad habits like smoking We should have simmilar goals for reduction in stuff like fast food as well. Most ppl who drink alcohol are not alcoholics but most smokers on the otherhand are addicted! Tabacco has hundreds of harmful chemicals in it while alcohol has, well alcohol In moderation alcohol doesn't do much to your body but cigarettes even a few a day and ur lungs turn dark Also this isn't about banning it it's about regulating it so ppl in public don't have to be exposed to it. Alcohol has restrictions on it too!
