She should have pulled out some big flags and waved them around instead of those small ones:huntyga:

that might’ve caused them to cut the live feed tho.

Just so you know, your (wrong) not so subtle digs at Gaga aren't going unnoticed. It's very transparent. :rip:

Also, the fact that you think any artist with a contract isn't corporately backed... :smh:

lmao whoops i thought he was talking about Xtina. Gaga literally is the opposite of corporate backed

Im confused, why is this controversial? shes saying peace for israel and palestine, she did not support any side.

Madonna is not anti war though and she is not for peace, she just opposes wars made by republicans. She anti right wing wars like Trump, Bush, and Israel right wing government.

It's not the point if it's controversial or not, it's simply because the contest rules is not to say or show anything political, like even if the UK singer would say "I'm pro Brexit" during the contest it would be bad and also she did that behind their back..

She did something very beautiful though, great message, something that as Israeli I believe in, so f-ck their rules, someone had to do it and she did it well (unlike Iceland imo).

I dont know the rules or anything about this event. But she did not say shes pro palestine or israel, she just shows both countries flags. Is that not allowed too? but yes I love what she did too even if it breaks the rules.

it's not allowed by the rules, which is dangerous because sooner or later it'll hurt another good cause because it may be political, I don't believe that human right = political.. like I said before, it can be the LGBTQ+ next time..

I can understand if they are against political opinions being biased to one side but saying she wants peace for everyone is not a political opinion. Its not taking anyones side or speaking against anything.

Bambino

Her singing was bad. The performances were good. Her political message was admirable but she shouldn't have gone to begin with.

And for those saying it's not the right time/place to spread a political message about peace, let me tell you it's always the right time and place to speak for human rights. I don't expect everyone to understand this though.
