mariomania1234 11,368
Arguably the most creative song on the album. A mega bop.
Bloody hooker 6,445
A bop that got an amazing video, but paid absolute dust. This mutual gaze was a “longing to touch” or a "pre-coitus" stare.
2School4Cool 6,429
I absolutely love John Wayne. It’s also my favorite Gaga video. See The Best In Everyone
Lucas 25,879
I love it! The bridge is really great
moonboywow 3,136
Would the video be considered camp?
LeJudas 6,490
One of the best of Joanne for sure. Best video. Loved the live performances and the way she sang it live The black outfits for JWT and Coachella. HUGE QUALITY SONG
doppelganger 3,925
It sounds great live, vibrant guitars! I don’t love the chorus though.

Mr S 8,671
Everything is like 9/10 or 10/10 except the hook/chorus gets a 0/10. Unfortunately, that's the most important part of a song. Production, vocals, lyrics, melody, video are all fire. But it lacks a hook.
Bio 23,538
Def one of the worst on Joanne. It cheapens the album.
PartySick 155,632
I rarely listen to the studio version, instead I have the Car Interlude from the JWT set up as an intro to @Riley's version. It's epic I like "live" versions better than studio versions. 💜Pushing down on your knees to make you drive faster💜

imnotyourbabe10 6,089
It's fun! I tend to group the record this way: Diamond Heart, A-YO John Wayne, PI, DIC seem to flow and Joanne, Million Reasons, Sinner's Prayer connect while Come to Mama, Hey Girl, Angel Down, and Grigio Girls have a distinct social message when paired up. Joanne has continuously grown on me and wish it was more utilized in the social movements these days (Esp. Come to Mama, Hey Girl and Angel Down)
Ashley 9,275
Love it! One of the best on Joanne and the video is seriously underrated too.
