In my opinion, the way stans talk about Gaga and LG6 is very peculiar. Why do stans specifically require critical and commercial success when she's not our show dog and her success doesn't affect our bank accounts? For instance, it's not just that stans want her to record dark pop, which is simply a genre preference, but it seems dark pop is the only way she can cultivate successful and acclaim to their liking. I don't know, maybe these people can only get off clowning on Katy stans and they don't know how to enjoy something without everyone else enjoying it, but it's... odd. Also she’s done many jazz projects, it’s not just a period in her life... She’s had her Gaga Holiday EP, CTC, She’s appeared on jazz albums in 2011, 2016, 2018... I just want a solo album. I'm saying that the C2C era was really her "jazz era" whereas now it's sort of just a part of her that she references. She easily impresses me because she is so talented and her lyrics speak to me and I love her to bits, but I would love to be completely blown away.
