I like Hip-Hop Gaga...

(Mah gawd i seriously didn't know that was a slang '-' sorry, i think hip hop is the literal thing so i'm replacing with that)

Just a thought i'm having lately, i really like when Gaga does something "urban pop" like Partynauseous and Cake like Lady Gaga (yah i know it's a humorous track) sad she didn't release any of those...

When i say urban i don't mean full on spitting bars, basically something like Miley's Bangerz, Rihanna's Anti and Lana's Born to Die

There's bits of that in the bridges from Judas, ARTPOP and Bad Romance, they are kind of hip hop oriented, and i'd really love to see her doing an album with that sound some day

Now, i know it wouldn't be popular... but a delusional monster can dream can't it? :trollga:

I'd love to sing something like "lady gaga in this bitch" on karaokes :staymad:

edit: also if you guys know any artist like that please let me know

Please, quickly change the title from "ratchet" to urban. That is the word you are looking for and some monsters here might take offense. "Urban" refers to African-American influenced music (essentially). Rachet is a distasteful slang word. Ik you had good intentions though

"urban" is still really not accurate and is often just conflated with "black" or "ethnic." It should just say hip-hop influenced lol, thats what they were describing with PARTYNAUSEOUS and Cake Like Lady Gaga.

R n B is also  heavily African American influenced and is considered urban. It's not hip hop.  Urban is the correct term in some cases when used right.  ( the lines are a little blurred though) Second Time Around (unreleased) is a good example of an urban tinged pop song.

true, I just think as you point out well above "ratchet," is misused often and can be pejorative, but I feel it really often is said in place of contemporary hip-hop sounds and attitudes and styles. Second Time Around is more RnB yes, but the OP listed all examples that directly pull from hip-hop.

actually i mean it

The way she sings in many parts of the record is described as a form os spoken word - rap, for instance, most of national anthem, the verses on blue jeans, and how she adds "dialogue" over the melodic part of born to die the song, she was heavily influenced by that, now i do recon it is not "ratchet" since i just discovered that's a bad word haha, "born to die is hip hop"

but her unreleased tracks from this era/Pre-paradise are more explicitly influenced by it, Live or Die is the most clear example i can think of :)
