Well Ray Of Light doesn't have LoveDrug, Vanish Into You, Shadow Of A Man, Perfect Celebrity, Garden Of Eden, Can't Stop The High, Zombieboy or Abracadabra

Ray of Light as a complete album is better. Its more cohesive sonically and thematically. 

But Mayhem has less tracks I skip if I'm just shuffling my music library.

Ray of Light because I prefer the sound, the spiritual themes,...

I love Mayhem’s sounds too, I see the spiritual pop themes too... But it felt less "finished". Tracks such as LoveDrug or Don’t Call Tonight, are cohesive in term of sounds and narrative but are nothing creative as Abra or Perfect Celebrity.

Yeah, that’s basically how I feel, tbh. I think MAYHEM is more fun and I’d probably be more inclined to listen to it, but ROL is an excellent album and was a formative listening experience for me as a teen

I also just don’t care about a Kabbalah renaissance themed album. Spirituality is so low on the list of themes I enjoy in music, and there are plenty of times that Gaga gets too close to it for my liking. So an entire album whose themes revolve around it just does nothing for me. It feels very “Live, Laugh, Love,” and I’m more of a “Die, Cry, Hate” person.

How do you come up with these brilliant comments  you should truly be a comedian or a writter for comedy show cause you come up with such iconic statements 

 

But on theme, as much as I adore Mayhem, its kinda poorly paced and I had to alter the tracklist to make it a better listen and use fan edits of The beast, Kill for love, HBDYWM and TDD + add Happy mistake wheras you can simply put a ROL CD into a player and enjoy the perfection.

Some of the songs on Mayhem scratch an itch that Madonna could never but ROL is still the better and stronger body of work.
