Been in love with it since the instrumental was featured in ‘The Fame part 1’.

only thing missing is an extra verse.

Edit: does anybody have the official instrumental?

I feel like The Fame album was designed to have all (or most) of it’s tracks to be marketable and to become hits. You could pull out any song and add good promotion to it = instant hit.

This one was more prone to success, due to it’s feature with Flo Rida.

name another Gaga album that can relate to this... i’ll wait.

Really? I never knew this! Did Gaga talk about this?

Thank God she went with Poker Face though. That song catapulted her to superstardom

Had Starstruck been released after Poker Face idk how it wouldn’t have went #1. Gaga was new and shiny, the chorus is catchy and poppy, the verses are more urban, Flo Rida was huge at the time. It had literally an unimaginably perfect formula

Idk why they didn't make it a single it seemed like it was MADE to be a single.

Flo Rida being a feature proves it

I was so ready to open this thread and discuss Scheiße, Dance In The Dark, Always Remember Us This Way and Is That Alright.

But I do agree that Starstruck as a singlr would’ve been cool, much better than Boys Boys Boys and Eh Eh.

Even the unreleased songs from The Fame had potential to be big hits. Freakshow is a great example. Yay Ha would have also had a chance to be a hit, maybe around the same success that Lovegame had.
