I like the Colbert one better but I liked this one too, maybe this one is slightly better cause in Colbert’s one she was still in the press tour and giving a bunch of standard answers but idk. Both are great and Kimmel and Colbert are two great independent women that don’t need to be pitted against each others- wait

"Social media quite frankly is the toilet of Internet." ugh. HER MIND, it amazes me sometimes :huntyga:

I remember back stage at my ARTPOP show she said "the internet is just 90% negativity" and somebody else piped up and said "the rest is p0rn" and she laughed so hard. :ladyhaha:

Ah. I haven’t ever seen her on Fallon because I refuse to watch him.

But I don’t get all the fake comments from the ASIB promo/awards.

I thought she was fabulous on Colbert.

I thought she was really uncomfortable to watch on Colbert. She said good things, about being a victim of abuse. But the way she spoke was so nervous and breathy it was hard to watch, she seemed really awkward and anxious.

Here she is so poised and confident and relaxed. She's finally acting like the award winning mega star she is, and it's so nice to see:kara: She's a really fun and charismatic person and I'm glad the world is getting to see that again after 3 years of overly emotional and serious Joanne interviews and "humble" ASIB interviews where all she does is lick Bradley's shoes for an hour.

That's right. I actually turned off the Colbert interview video in the middle.

Am I the only one that didn’t see the big deal? Honestly, she seems fun and genuine in most of her interviews imo. This one was great too tho.

Not in those ASIB/Joanne era ones

I don’t get it.

She certainly comes across as fake many times.

She was, but it helps immensely that Colbert is extremely intelligent, artistic and sociopolitically engaged. So it pretty much hits all of Gaga’s criteria for a natural conversation rather than a stilted one.

Plus, he’s especially respectful of artists who want to use their platform for good, so when a guest has something of importance to say, he doesn’t follow the scripted questions anymore and just lets them say what they like.

But he’s a rare breed of late night host. Fallon is a nightmare. :fail:

Oh but for the record, I always think she has given far above average interviews, because she’s much more eloquent, artistically diverse and socially/politically engaged than most other mainstream artists. So she’s passionate about many things, and she’s very smart. So she typically has something of some consequence to say, which I love.

I think usually if an interview is described as awkward, it’s primarily just a bad fit between artist/interviewer, although I’m sure Gaga has genuinely had very awkward interviews during the past 10 years, especially given her rather eccentric presentation during her debut, little tea cup in hand and everything. :vegas:
