I'm living by the idea that everyone is wrong and then I build up my opinions. I lived in the far far left house, like my mom used to go every friday after job to the border of Israel and Gaza and protested against the occupation, so for me she's the true left, by all means, the left today is just seating in front of the computer and complaining about everything.. it start and ends with a "like" or a rant on twitter... this is one of the reasons why Trump won and many right-wing parties all over the world, the left became lazy and lost it's fighting spark.. you can't fight the beast with a soft hand, the world is going crazy.. I criticize both party’s too, but I don’t go out of my way to repeat the negatives of the Republican Party when plenty of people on here do. I’m a moderate liberal. Siena 6,412 Posted February 18, 2019 Share Posted February 18, 2019 I'm not a Trump supporter at all but many of my friends and family members are republican, and none of them are racist, homophobic, sexist etc. They simply agree with conservative economic policies, and more than that, they couldn't bring themselves to have the Clinton's in the Whitehouse again. I think this is the case for many Trump supporters, ya there are definitely crazy ones out there, but what really got Trump elected was the dislike for the opposing candidate. We have a family friend who was in the secret service during Bill Clintons terms, and he told everyone he knows to " please not let another Clinton in the Whitehouse" Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
