So we’re just gonna pretend these wernt things Obama stood by at one point or another?

What irks me about the Democratic Party is how hypocritical they are. A lot of Democrats didn’t give a **** about queer rights 20 or even 10 years ago, Obama was funding Mexico to stop illegal immigration from other Central American country’s to the US, etc. Miss me with that nonsense.

Obama's a war criminal. I'm not a fan.

I'm a leftist. I criticize both parties when they do the wrong thing. You're the person that regularly trolls this forum to try to make the case that the party that is always on the wrong side of history is actually better than the party that is only on the wrong side of history roughly half the time.

Go back to posting videos of Hitler sympathizer Candace Owens to try to convert users that will never listen to you. You're out of your depth. :laughga:

I’m a conflicted centrist, leaning left or right on different issues so I find voting quite hard.  I’m hoping the Labour Party in the U.K. will stop leaning so far on the left, they make themselves hard to vote for

Nor do openly hostile comments and being rude actually fix anything.

I'm not going to play nice with anyone that backs the most conservative party in the industrialized world. There are real-world ramifications for that sort of thing. Politics isn't a game. It's not a friendly debate. The Republican Party uniformly wants to disenfranchise black voters, deport immigrants, bomb Middle Eastern civilians and privilege the wealthy over the working class. Anyone who deliberately backs that is complicit.

Listen to "9 to 5" again real quick. Get on board.

@DCgaga OT: While I think you have definitely made fair points about the liberal echo-chamber that is GGD, you’re going to receive criticism for your political views (whatever they may be) on an online forum.

And that’s why I made this post, to try to get the online community to actually stop acting like they’re on top of everyone because of they way they think. I think if it as religion in as a context in a way, the majority in this website is Christian, don’t lie, but we’ve learned to accept people are are Jewish, Hindu, and even Atheist. So why do we cancel out people for not being on the same political views as you? It seems a little childish to me, considering that we’ve gotten so politically correct over these past couple of years where almost everything from the right side has everything to do with what’s wrong in America. Sorry for ranting this took me 10 minutes to write and I know that I’m all over the place with this, I just have a way of thinking and I can’t really express it too well.

Have a good day :D

OMY GOD I'm so sorry. God but you know there are people out there who really think it :toofunny:

It’s ok! It’s alright if you were concerned, good to know we have people who care about what they believe in, but at the same time always double check, paws up

Just be independent, it’s SOO much easier considering you can choose whatever side you think is best, whereas being entitled to one side and one side only whether or not it’s a bad side

I just don’t think being hostile is a constructive way to try to convince someone to support different ideals. If you want to increase the proliferation of leftist ideas on an even greater scale, wouldn’t it make more sense to adopt strategies that would actually have the opposing side listen?... cause I can assure you calling them “moronic” isn’t going to do that.

And yeah, 9 to 5 is low key a leftist, populist anthem:vegas: ... and the movie was a #metoo movement movie close to 40 years before the movement started.

Because it’s easier to say “you’re wrong” than to actually have a constructive conversation. It’s sad, but I think that may be why.

We can agree on that. One of the many reasons I love her.

I’m just gonna leave this here: https://www.google.ch/amp/s/www.pinknews.co.uk/2019/02/12/republican-eric-porterfield-drowning-kids-gay/amp/

Something like this happens every week and there are no repercussions. Because republicans don’t f*cking care. I think Americans forget that they get to choose the people who represent them. the fact that these people are still in power says a lot about the people who voted for them.
