ASIB would easily win AOTY this year. Not the case next year.

If Golden Hour wins tonight, then that most likely means no POCs for any of the Big 3 categories this year. In that case, given the Grammys' track record in recent years, it's very likely the Blue Ribbon Panel will block ASIB from the General Field next year, to prevent another clean sweep by non-POCs. Gaga herself has already fallen victim to this BS at least twice in her career (BR and MR).

If Black Panther wins tonight... How likely that a movie soundtrack is going to win the top prize two years in a row?

What is the point in reminiscing on what could have been if there was no way of competing this year? Focus on the positive, g0rl, do something productive

If you see me posting like crazy, I'm either bored or procrastinating.

She still has a very big chance of winning it next year if the album's anticipated by big artists this year are released Q4(Taylor, Adele). Let's focus on tonight

First off, ‘Thank U, Next’ won’t be any competition. Second, Adele will most likely release Q4 and so will Taylor. Beyoncé isn’t in the picture till and will most likely hold off her release till 2020 seen as she has Lion King Music coming out later this year.

ASIB soundtrack was released the very first week of the new grammy cycle and has one of the very top selling albums since then. I think as as long as it can maintain its dominance through the rest of the year, it will have a great shot.
