What do you think would happen if Gaga decided to wear a meat dress again? I think people would go crazy.

I feel like most of the controversial stuff she did early on in her career she wouldn’t be able to get away with now. People are way too sensitive. I think about the VMA performance and how people would create a narrative about glorifying hanging / suicide etc...:green:

Wait why would people make a bigger deal out of it now?

Because In 2019 there’s a trend of people digging up old tweets, interviews, performances and trying to create a false narrative that suits them as to why it offends them in the hope it (fake) outrages other people and blows up. As a society it seems now more so than ever we love tearing people down than lifting people up. Some people can’t grasp the idea of forgiveness and that people change. Everyone appears to be offended by something, unfortunately. I’m generally speaking but I can only imagine the fake outrage if she wore a meat dress now.

she already did on the BTW tour and the next time she's gonna wear it is when she's 50+ and making references to her old looks... like Madonna with the cone bra, or Cher in the If I Could Turn Back Time leotard

Smother Em Eh

It would literally be 3x more controversial now then it was in 2010. Glad she wore it when she did, 8 years ago.

Wait will people really have a bigger fuss over it if she wore it again :emma: I mean there was obviously controversy the first time but its what she’s known most for and everyone always brings it up, I’m just curious the fact that the meat dress 2.0 (3.0? :selena:) would be the ultimate headline scandal

Uh Red Wine... Convict... Gah Gah...

I agree with you. Cancel culture is so annoying. I miss how it used to be. Before the streaming era...ugh, good times.
